Alexandra is a big advocate for sustainability and entrepreneurship education. She started her career on a marketing campaign creating awareness about the jobs and people in the recycling industry. Before the pandemic, she traveled around the country implementing zero-waste systems and nonprofit advocacy zones at music festivals and large scale events.
With gatherings being canceled, she's been working on Waste Free Earth projects to foster sustainability culture in the workplace in addition to freelancing for a nonprofit in Memphis that empowers African American and Latinx students to pursue entrepreneurship.
Because of the many roles she's held in the events industry, she brings attention to detail and creative thinking to every Waste Free Earth project. Other festivals she's worked include Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, AFROPUNK (Brooklyn & Atlanta), Famously Hot New Year, and Jam Room Music Festival.
Alexandra graduated Magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business and Honors College with a B.S. in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship Concentration as well as with minors in Sport and Entertainment Management and Latin American Studies. Alexandra wrote her Honors College Thesis on environmentally sustainable initiatives in live entertainment.
